About us
Voices for Justice in Palestine (VJP) is a North Carolina-based nonprofit organizing for justice, freedom, and equality in Palestine-Israel. We bring together people of all backgrounds—faith leaders, students, activists, and community members—to educate, advocate, and take collective action in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Our work blends grassroots organizing with public education and policy advocacy. We show up: at city council meetings, protests, student encampments, and interfaith forums. We speak, write, march, mobilize, and accompany. We’ve helped fund buses to D.C. protests, delivered meals to student organizers, and supported court and jail relief for arrestees. We believe in material solidarity and moral clarity.
VJP was born from the 2020 merger of two long-standing organizations—the Coalition for Peace with Justice and the Abrahamic Initiative on the Middle East. Together, they brought decades of education, action, and interfaith collaboration. That legacy lives on through our work today.
We understand that the struggle for Palestinian liberation is deeply connected to global movements against white supremacy, settler colonialism, and systemic oppression. We are committed to dismantling these systems wherever they exist—and to building a future grounded in equality, dignity, and shared humanity.

Our mission
We educate, organize, and advocate to advance Palestinian liberation and human rights. Through grassroots action and interfaith solidarity, we work to shift U.S. policy and public opinion in pursuit of justice, dignity, and freedom in Palestine-Israel.
Our vision
We envision a just peace in Palestine-Israel—rooted in the right of return, the end of apartheid and occupation, and full equality for Palestinians, Israeli Jews, and all people in the region. We see this struggle as part of a global movement to dismantle oppression, racism, and colonial domination everywhere.

Our team
We are a small, interfaith team of committed organizers, advocates, and public voices for justice in Palestine. Each of us brings personal experience, professional expertise, and deep conviction to this work. Together, we educate, organize, and speak out to build a world rooted in dignity, equality, and freedom.
